Henry Boshamer

Obituary Henry C. Boshamer, 85, of Morehead City, died Saturday, September 16, 2017, at home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 First United Methodist Church, located at 900 Arendell Street in Morehead City. The memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Powell Osteen. Mr. Boshamer was born January 12, 1932, in Gastonia, NC to Clarence and Mae Shuford Boshamer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Boshamer is survived by his wife Greta Groves Boshamer, as well as grandchildren; Clint Barnes, Jr., Jason Barnes, Tyler C. Barnes and Matthew Barnes; great-grandchild; Henry H. Barnes. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Cary M. Boshamer, daughter, Sandra Barnes and brother, Wilson Boshamer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
