Obituary Heather Elaine Hardee, 26, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 8th 2023. She was only 26 years old. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Noe-Brooks Funeral Home of Morehead City. Heather Elaine was born right here on the Eastern Coast of North Carolina and lived here for most of her life. She enjoyed long drives around town with the music playing, fishing, going to the beach, and hanging out with everyone she knew. She loved all the simple things life had to offer. There was never a dull moment with Heather around and she was sure to make you smile. Heather was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who loved her family dearly and would go above and beyond to help someone in need. She is survived by her wife, Taylor Hardee of Newport, NC; two children, Crayton and Kensleey Hardee; parents, Rebecca and Joseph R. Hardee II of Newport, NC; brother, Austin Hardee of Newport, NC; and her grandparents, Joanne and Carl Grelle of Clifton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harvey J Crawford and her paternal grandparents Dorthy and James Willis.
