Obituary Hazel T. Cameron, 96, of Emerald Isle, formerly of Asheboro, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at Crystal Bluff Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Morehead City. A memorial service will be held at Ridge Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 908 Albemarle Road, Asheboro, NC on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm, followed by a visitation. Mrs. Cameron was born in Springfield, MA to Arthur and Mae Twombly. She and her husband, John Bell Cameron, owned Ideal Electric Co of Asheboro and she worked until age 90 at various occupations. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Burks, of Ocean Isle and her sons; Tim Burks of Sarasota, FL, Keith and his wife, Deborah Burks of Lincoln, NE, and a son, Johnny and his wife, Brenda Cameron of Emerald Isle and their children, Caroline Cameron of Jacksonville and Brian and his wife, Tricia Cameron of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, and parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
