Harvey Guthrie

Obituary Harvey Lee Guthrie, 81, of Salter Path, died Friday, October 13, 2017, at Crystal Coast Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 16, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home. The memorial service will be officiated by Reverend David Bratton. Harvey was born in Salter Path on March 21, 1936, to George and Maddie Moore Guthrie. Mr. Guthrie made his living as a commercial fisherman. He was one of the last life-long members of Salter Path. He is survived by a brother, Phil Guthrie, of Morehead City and several nieces and nephews.
