Obituary Harold Ray Brown, 86, of Pine Knoll Shores, NC passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City. Harold Ray Brown passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 after an extended stay at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, North Carolina at the age of 86. Harold retired in 1999 from Burlington Northern Railroad and moved to Pine Knoll Shores with Sarah, his wife. He is preceded in death by Sarah Dozier Bryson Brown, his first wife; his parents John Rexford Brown and Ruth Kemp Brown; his brother Bobby Rex Brown; a niece Geraldine Ruth "Deanie" Akers and a nephew Francis Bryson Greene. Harold is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Libby) Brown; a nephew Timothy Markham Brown and three nieces Carol Jane Cast; Elizabeth Ann Kale, and Faye Brown Buchana. Burial will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon, North Carolina. Donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
