Obituary Gloria Julian, 70, of Newport, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Noe-Brooks Funeral home with Chaplain Patrick Whaley officiating. A private burial will take place the following day in McColl, SC. A link to the video of the service can be found at the bottom of this page. Gloria is survived by her husband of 52 years, William G. Julian of the home; sons, Paul Julian of Summerville, SC; Jason Julian of Gainesville, FL; Jonathon Julian of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Katherine Julian of Burlington, VT; nine grandchildren; brothers, Patrick McLain; Steve McLain; and Norman McLain; sisters, Betty Chandler; Susan Risler and Cindy Casely. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Peggy McLain; brothers, John McLain and Charles McLain. The family requests no flowers.
