Obituary Geneva "Genny" Dawn Taylor, 58, of New Bern, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern. Genny enjoyed making jewelry, painting and crafts. But her favorite past time was fishing, where she could and did spend hours doing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. She was survived by a daughter, Amanda Dawn Taylor and husband, Brandon of Newport; son, Kenneth Taylor and wife, Tabitha of Newport; six grandchildren; brother, Andy Taylor of Newport; sister, Dorothy Green of New Bern; two nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Earl Taylor and her brother, Willie Taylor.
