Evelyn Wallace

Evelyn D. Wallace, 79, of Beaufort, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Havelock.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Reels Chapel AME Zion Church in Beaufort (Merrimon). Burial will follow at the Reels Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her three daughters, Marion Rogers and Gene of Beaufort; Jennifer Wallace of Beaufort; Regina Fuller and husband, Timothy; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; her mother, Gertrude Reels of Beaufort; four brothers, Melvin Davis of Beaufort; Leroy Davis of Beaufort; Billy Reels and wife, Crystal of New Bern; Licurtis Reels of Beaufort; six sisters, Mamie Ellison and husband, James of Beaufort; Tammy Jarman and husband, Terry "TJ" of Beaufort; Jill Wallace of Beaufort; Laverta Ellison of Beaufort and Roberta Motley of Columbus, OH; Bessie Jones of Havelock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Davis; husband, Odell Wallace; son, Odell Wallace Jr.; and four siblings.
