Elisha 'Bill' Sanderson

Obituary Elisha William "Bill" Sanderson, 83, of Beaufort, died Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday October 31, 2019 at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Beaufort, with Rev. Richard Patterson presiding. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park, Morehead City. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.Mr. Sanderson was born in Beaufort to the late Manley William Sanderson and the late Annie Mae Bowen Sanderson. He was the manager of the Sanitary Fish Market for many years. Elisha is survived by his wife Theresa Adaway Sanderson of Beaufort; two daughters, Debra Ann Baker and husband Glenn of Havelock, and Ina Marie Sanderson and Jennifer Carter of Newport; son, Michael William Sanderson and fiance Jennifer Wrenn of Wilmington: brother, Elmer Gibbie Sanderson and wife Maria "Pili" of Beaufort; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
