Edna Williams Mason

Obituary Edna W. Mason, 90, of Crab Point, died Saturday, May 18, 2019. Her funeral will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home. It will be preceded by her viewing with family and friends an hour before the funeral. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Morehead City. Edna was the youngest of the nine children of Mary and Joseph Williams. As the years have come and gone, she is the last of eight brothers and sisters to cross Jordan. Her sisters were; Maybelle Fulcher, Hilda Simpson, Alice Styron, Mary Hamann, Lillian ONeill, Sue Sabiston, and brothers; Joseph Williams and John R. Williams. Edna worked with her husband at Rudolph Mason Accounting for over 60 years. Upon his death in 2002, she ran the business with her daughter, Pam, and she was still working there at the age of 90. The family wishes to thank all of their clients who have stuck by her and the firm for all these many years. Edna is survived by her three children; Constance Williams Mason, Pamela Rose Mason, and Helen Louise Mason-Palmer, and one grand-dog; Maizie. Her extended family of nieces and nephews and their families were very dear and well loved by her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Rudolph Mason of Stacy and her son-in-law, Alan Palmer of Asheboro.
