Obituary Biography Donnie Eubanks, 93, of Beaufort, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Carteret Health Care. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Tuttles Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Beaufort, with the Rev. Ernest Laxton officiating. Mr. Eubanks was born on November 6, 1924, in Carteret County, to Daniel and Ada Beacham Eubanks. He served in the United States Navy and was discharged March 1946 in Shelton, Virginia. He worked at MCAS Cherry Point as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic. Sons, Randy Eubanks and wife, Sally, of Thomasville, James Eubanks and wife, Edith, of Winston-Salem, and John Eubanks of Beaufort, and son-in-law, Richard Hunnings of Beaufort. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Richard Hunnings home, 142 Family Lane, Beaufort. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ada Eubanks; wife of 68 years Jeanne Taylor Eubanks; a daughter Donna Hunnings and several siblings.
