Obituary Diane Kay Bland, 68, of New Bern, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Carolina East Medical Center of New Bern. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Pastor Paul Rose officiating. The family will receive friends at Noe-Brooks funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Wednesday. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jimmy Bland of New Bern; daughter, Pamela Willis and husband, Matthew of Newport; two granddaughters, Sarah Willis of Newport; Hannah Willis of Newport; three brothers, Glenn Ferrell of Winterville, NC; Donnie Ferrell of Garner; Durwood Ferrell of Ponte Vedra,Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pauline Ferrell.
