She worked as an office manager for a government contractor. She is survived by her husband Claude C. Brown, Jr.; two sons, Jason Tyndall of Albany, NY and Michael Chandler of Boston, MA; one grandson, Nickolas Tyndall of Newport; one brother Edward Tyndall of Ernul, NC and her stepfather, Hilton Russell of Deerfield, FL.
