Obituary David Lloyd Cooper, 48, of Newport, died Monday, December 8, 2014, at Carteret General Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, at All Saints Anglican Church with the Rev. David Linka officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park and then a reception will be held at All Saints Anglican Church. Mr. Cooper was born on November 7, 1966, in Charleston, SC. He worked in maintenance at Crystal Coast Apartments and Beach Walk Apartments. He is survived by his wife, Beth Cooper of Newport; son, Trever Chambers of Swansboro; brother, Clifton Cliff Cooper of Newport; mother-in-law, Ruby M. Best of Newport; paternal father Clifton Cliff Nance and wife, Frances, of Newport; aunt Janice and husband, Andy Schwartz of Newport, two uncles, Victor Reynolds, of Newport and Garth Cooper, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Newport. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Klein Cooper; mother, Nancy Cooper; and nephew, Justin Shawn Cooper.
