Daniel 'Dan' Michael Rundell

Obituary On February 7, 2023, Daniel Michael Rundell born February 18,1950, passed away at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. He was 72 years old. Dan (G-Pa) will be missed, but will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Dan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rose Marie Rundell, of Morehead City, NC; his son Jared (Holly) Rundell of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren Spencer and Sophie Rundell of Greenville, NC; his siblings Douglas (Barbara) Rundell of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; Mary (Larry) Nichols of Ravenswood, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Newton and Fern Rundell of Elmira, New York. A special thank you goes out to the doctors, nurses, and surgeons at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill and Carolina East Oncology in New Bern, NC. No memorial service or funeral is planned.
