Craig Horne

Obituary Craig Horne, 81, of Atlantic Beach, died Friday, July 20, 2018, at Universal Skilled Nursing Facility, Bolivia, NC Mr. Horne was born in Savannah, GA on June 13, 1937 to Lawrence and Mary Elizabeth Blatner Horne. He graduated from Morehead City High School and attended Campbell College. He served his country in the U. S. Army, and retired from Civil Service in 1999. Prior to working with Civil Service, he was part owner of Gaskills Feed, Seed and True-Value Hardware. He was a member of the Morehead City Country Club for more than 30 years. Craig is survived by his sons, Douglas Horne of Wilmington, and David Horne, and his wife, Sherry, of High Point; and two grandsons, Joshua and Matthew. Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his parents.
