Clifford Morschauser

Obituary Clifford Morschauser, 93, of Cape Carteret, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Swansboro United Methodist Church. Mr. Morschauser was born April 28, 1921, in Jersey City, NJ, to Henry and Madeline Morschauser. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked as an engineer in the petroleum industry. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Kathryn B. Morschauser, of Cape Carteret; son, LtCol Michael Clifford Morschauser, USMC (ret), of Plano, TX: daughter, Melissa Beth M. Plante of Jupiter FL; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Swansboro United Methodist Church, 665 W. Corbett Ave., Swansboro, NC 28584.
