Obituary Clem Williams, 67, of Morehead City, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Carteret General Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, at First United Methodist Church with The Rev. Michael D. Frese officiating. He was born January 19, 1947 in Raleigh to Noah Clemons Williams and Nancy Emoline Winstead Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of the class of 1965 at Millbrook High School in Raleigh and a graduate of East Carolina University. He was a teacher, coach, and administrator in Pitt and Carteret Counties. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Morehead City, Ocean Masonic Lodge #214, Morehead City, and a former member of the Rotary Club of Morehead City Lookout. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Williams; daughter, Carrie Williams Cornwell and husband, Paul, of Greenville; son, David Williams and wife, Jennifer, of Roanoke Rapids; sister, Pamela Williams Lloyd of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Drew Williams, Emily Williams, Sarah Williams, Carson Cornwell, and Maddie Cornwell. He is preceded in death by his parents.
