Obituary Christopher Arnold Taylor, 43, of Newport died Sunday, August 28, 2016. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life. He was born September 3, 1972 at Fort Bragg, NC to Alvin and Marion Whitaker Taylor. He was an artist who enjoyed painting and crafts. He is survived by his daughter, Emilee Taylor of Roseboro; father, Alvin Taylor of St. Genevieve, Missouri; sister, Dawn Ciecalone Bradshaw of Faison; brother, Alvin Steven Taylor of Roseboro; stepsons, Kelvin Johnson and Darby Lockamy of Roseboro. He is preceded in death by his mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570.
