Obituary Carol A. Landry, 76, of Newport, died Friday, February 20, 2015, at Carteret General Hospital. At Mrs. Landrys request, there will be no services. Carol was born in Buffalo, New York, on January 3, 1939, to Francis C. and Genevieve Hooley Ford. She and her husband owned Coastal Court Reporting Company, Inc. in Newport for 32 years. She is survived by her husband, Oswald D. (O.D.) Landry; 3 children, Terry Thompson, and wife, Gloria, of Stella, Bonnie Jean Steinbrink, and her husband, Larry, of North Platt, NE., and Scott Thompson, and his wife, Heidi, of Atlanta, GA; her brother, Frank Ford, and his wife, Judy, of Buffalo, NY; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
