C. Carlisle Friedlin

Obituary Carlisle Friedlin, 92 of Atlantic Beach, died Monday, March 6, 2017, at Carteret Health Care. No services are scheduled. Mr. Frieldin was born in Portsmouth VA, to Charles and Lida Friedlin. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr Friedlin worked as a sheet metal worker for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard for many years. He was a member of the Bogue Banks Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Rick Friedlin of Cape Coral, Fl and Mike Gilleland of South Mills, NC; two daughters, Jeanne Scott of Fort Meyers, FL and Trish Hyde of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, his wife Gladys Miller Harrell Friedlin, preceded him in death.
