Obituary 1-888-579-7953 Code: 2002089P Billy Mack Weeks, 62, of Newport, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2017, at Brooks Funeral Home with Brother Bob Lowery officiating. A dinner will be provided for close friends and family at the Newport Moose Lodge following the service. Billy was born in Cherry Point, NC to Sammy Neal Weeks and Gladys Brown Weeks. He worked in Civil Service at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, for over 35 years. Billy married Beth Larcom, of Newport, on August 24, 1980 in Dillon, SC. He is survived by his wife Beth Larcom Weeks of Newport; two sons, Brett Williams Weeks and companion Jennifer Roland, of Stella, and Barry Neal Weeks of Ayden; one daughter, Bonnie Christine Weeks and companion Ricky Jones, Jr., of Morehead City; his father, Dr. Sammy Neal Weeks and wife Connie, of Smithfield; three brothers, Bobby Weeks and wife Debbie of Beaufort, Benny Weeks of Newport and Wayne Puckett and wife Kim, of Smithfield; two sisters, Brenda Cockrell of Raleigh, and Betty Jean Sutton and husband Frank, of Pine Knoll Shores; three aunts, Carolyn Brown of Newport, Jean Brown of Newport and Shirley Brown of Ohio; five grandchildren, Ricky Oneal Jones, III, Brisa Marie Jones, Ivy Diane Muller, Amber Matthews and Janessa Roland; and many cousins. Also, a special consideration to all his hunting and fishing buddies. His mother preceded him in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
