Obituary 1-888-579-7953 Code: 2002089P Barbara Willis Robinson, 74, of Beaufort, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Carteret Health Care, Morehead City. Her funeral service will be Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Pastor Jacob Snider and Pastor Marty Warren officiating. Interment will be at Carteret Memorial Gardens, Beaufort. Mrs. Robinson was born in Morehead City on May 30, 1942, to Edward Clark and Barbara Parkin Willis. She was a graduate of Beaufort High School, and a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church. Barbara loved her Lord, her church, her family and her church family. She loved being around people. She was an awesome cook, and loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife and a beloved mother. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Edward Robinson, Sr; children, Ralph Edward Robinson, Jr., Christopher Maurice Robinson and Lisa Dawn Robinson, all of Beaufort; brothers, Maurice McQuaid "Mac" Willis, and wife, Karen, of Beaufort, Louis Edward "Bo" Willis, and wife, Julie, of Newport, and Don Clark Willis, and wife, Tanis, of Morehead City, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church on Sunday. In addition to her parents, her sister, Roberta Shaw Smith preceded her in death. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church, 130 Airport Road, Beaufort, NC 28516.
