Obituary Barbara Louise Rowland Lancaster, 84, of Morehead City died Monday, January 9, 2017, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport. A celebration of her wonderful life will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 13, at All Saints Anglican Church, 292 McCabe Road, Newport, with the Rev. David Linka officiating. She was born January 12, 1932 in Plainfield, NJ to Francis and Alice Rowland. She attended North Plainfield High School and then worked in Manhattan, New York as a secretary and model. She will be greatly missed, but we take great comfort knowing she lived a full life, a life of love and laughter. She is survived by her children, Chuck Lancaster and wife Tammy of Alamo, CA and Linda Kennedy and husband Michael of Cornwall, NY; grandsons, Patrick, Jack Connor, Keegan and Christopher; sisters, Jean Barrett of Middlesex, NJ and Carol Trunzo and husband Nick of Doylestown, PA. In addition to her parents, her loving husband of 49 years, Rodney Charles Lancaster, and son, David, preceded her in death.
