Obituary Audrey Gaskill Parker, 93, of Beaufort, formerly of Harkers Island, died Monday, February 1, 2016, at Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, at Free Grace Wesleyan Church, Harkers Island, with the Rev. Clint Nelson and the Rev. Jerry Linebarger officiating. She was born April 7, 1922 on Harkers Island to Clem Creston and Louise Hancock Gaskill. She is survived by her son, Ernest Linwood Parker, III and wife Trudy of Beaufort; granddaughter, Robin Parker of Beaufort; grandson, Wood Parker, IV and wife Booth of Newport; great-grandson, Woody Parker, V. In addition to her parents, her husband, Ernest Linwood Parker, Jr.; sister, Inez Vinson and brother, Clem C. "Snowball" Gaskill preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crystal Coast Hospice House, P. O. Box 640, Newport, NC 28570.
