Anna Conroy

Obituary Anna 'Annie' Marie Wittenkeller Conroy went to her heavenly home on 2/14/2023 at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her loving family and crossed over peacefully. Annie was born to Nicholas Michael & Rose Syncowski Wittenkeller on 6/28/1945 in Lemont Illinois. Annie is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Conroy of Morehead City NC, daughter, Cindy Williams (Claude Williams Jr) of Newport NC, son, Tony Voss (Laurie Voss) of Joliet, Illinois, stepsons, David, Eddie, and Timmy, and a combined 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Annie is proceeded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, and stepson, Steven. Annie was dedicated and worked in the retail and food industry for many years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Since moving to NC in 1995, Annie and Ray would spend their nights relaxing by their koi pond enjoying the fish and humming birds that kept their backyard a sanctuary. One of Annie's favorite quotes was: 'Life is good in the backyard!' There will be no service, but please feel free to honor and remember Annie, by donating to The American Cancer Society.
