Agnes Marie Edwards

Obituary Agnes Marie Rolison Edwards, 87, of Beaufort, went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Harborview Health Care Center with her family at her side. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Ann Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis M. Goodwin officiating. The interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. Born October 29, 1927, in Whortonsville Community in Pamlico County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert E. and Ida Daniels Rolison. She is survived by one sister, Virginia Jordon of New Bern, NC; four daughters, Brenda Goodnight and husband, Talmadge, of Newport, NC, Faye Perritt and husband, Billy, of Chattanooga, TN, Phyllis Sealey and husband, Ray, of Newport, NC, and Deborah White of Joplin, MO; two sons, Carl Edwards and wife, Jane, of Shelby, NC and Charles Edwards of Newport, NC; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 52 years, William Carl Edwards, Jr.; infant daughter, Angela Lynn Edwards; sister, Alma Mae Riggen; brothers, Charlie, Harold, and Johnny Rolison; and great grandson, Ernest Scott Cessna.
