Richard 'Rick' Brinton

Obituary Rick Brinton, 65, of Cedar Point, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Carteret Health Care. No services are scheduled. Mr. Brinton was born in Lafayette, IN to James H. Brinton, Jr. and Doris M. Brinton. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and is a Purple Heart recipient. Rick married Sandra Lewis on October 5, 1984 in Woodstock IL. They have been married for 33 years. He was the owner, of the Cedar Station in Cedar Point until October 2006. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Brinton; one son Chad H. Brinton of San Francisco, CA; two brothers, Stephen L. Brinton of Northfield, MN and James Brinton of Cosby TN; a sister Lisa Barnett of Hoschton, GA. His parents precede him in death.
