Obituary Karen Barbour Bell, 65, of Stella died Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the home of her daughter. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, at Brooks Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. John Pollock and Rev. John Adams officiating. She was born December 27, 1950 in Chapel Hill, NC to Clawson and Evangeline Pope Barbour. Mrs. Bell was an interior designer. She is survived by her daughter, Vandy Lyn Cannon of Cape Carteret; son, Corey Edward Cannon and wife Nadine of Newport; grandsons, Dylan William Burgess, Andrew Joseph Cannon and Henry Conrad Cannon. In addition to her parents, her husband, Clarence Anderson Bell, and brothers, Keith Barbour and Ken Barbour, preceded her in death.
