Obituary Judith Lewis Golden, 78, of Smyrna, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 3:30pm at the Bell Family Cemetery. Judith was born in Otway on July 20, 1940, to Guy and Nora Lawrence Lewis. She graduated from Smyrna High School, Class of 1958. She and her husband owned Golden Seafood in Tusk. She was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, and worked at the shirt factory in Morehead City for a number of years. She was a mother to all that knew her, and always had someones child in her arms and a smile on her face. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Hayes, and husband, L. A., of Smyrna, Nicole Dudley (her caregiver of 14 years), and husband, Scott, of the home, and Lee Ann Irvine, and husband, Daniel, of Otway; 3 sisters, Jeanie Potter of Gloucester, Kay Willis and Laura Lewis, both of Smyrna; 7 grandchildren; Hope Preswood, and husband, Matthew, Faith Hammond, and husband, Hayden, Christopher Gaskill, and friend, Amanda Meek, Patience Soult, and husband, Tony, Scott Dudley, Colin Irvine, and Kael Irvine; and 4 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and an extended family and friends.
