Obituary James Michael Coyle of Morehead City, 95, died peacefully at home on September 3, 2016. There will be no services. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he earned his bachelor degree at LaSalle College and a masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania. James then worked for over 30 years in various middle management positions for the Ford Motor Company in New Jersey and Dearborn, Michigan. He met his wife, Suzanne, while at Ford and they married in 1955. James and Suzanne retired to Morehead City in 1985 and spent many happy years meeting people and living among the beautiful surroundings. He volunteered at Carteret General Hospital for more than ten years. He was a longtime member of the Sports Center and enjoyed exercise and sharing stories with the other members. He thoroughly enjoyed reading the Sunday edition of the New York Times from cover to cover. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in WWII. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Suzanne (Volk) Coyle; his daughter, Andrea Anderson (Phil) of Wilmington, NC; his son James Coyle (Alcia) of Cape Carteret, NC; and two grandchildren, Emily Anderson of Washington, DC and Greg Anderson of Helsinki, Finland. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna (Morrison) Coyle and his siblings, Joseph and Mary Ritter.
